How Cox & Cox maximised conversion post-pandemic

As the country begins to emerge from the constant threat of lockdown, mask-wearing and home testing for a virus that turned the world upside down and changed the way we live in almost every single way, the eCommerce sector is beginning to see a decline in sales. There are a number of reasons for this but mainly it's down to people having the freedom and longing to get out of the house and return to a form of normality and the fact that the cost of living has gone up, causing many a consumer to tighten the proverbial belt and count their pennies.

However, during this time there are some online stores that are actually seeing growth and an increase in sales, Cox and Cox is such a company.

Who are Cox and Cox?

Founded in 2001 by Fiona Cox, Cox and Cox seeks to provide household items that are sleek, stylish and practical, a standard they have adhered to for the past 21 years. Gathering unique designs from around the world and bringing them within reach of their customers, Cox and Cox is a design lead, customer-focused company bursting with a desire to see their customer's ideal home become a living reality.

Stocking a wide range of home building products such as mirrors, rugs, armchairs, beds, dining tables, light fixtures and outdoor furniture, their customers are encouraged to use their products and services to love every corner of their homes.

Post-Pandemic growth

As we said above, many companies have seen a decrease in online and offline sales in recent months, however, Cox and Cox have not. Through the redesign of their website, carrying out A/B testing, and introducing some new tech and ways of categorising their inventory and online offerings, they have managed to not only survive the downturn in online sales but have also found ways to thrive.

And this is the subject of Aynsley Peet's talk. During this session, he will be walking us through the decision-making process and sharing with us the highs and lows, the trials and triumphs along with some hints, tips and timely advice for those in need of a post-pandemic sales boost.

Is this session for me?

If you are an eCommerce merchant or are part of the decision making and/or strategy team at your company then this is one you aren't going to want to miss. This session will teach you how to navigate and leverage the ever-changing demands of the customer and come out on top, making the information and experience that Aynsley will share in this talk will be invaluable. Throughout this session and through the day you'll be able to sit, listen and have the opportunity to talk to someone directly that has been through what many of you may be going through or are about to go through, and that my friend is an opportunity too good to miss.

Our final thoughts...

Life is hard at the moment, if not for everyone, then for the majourity of us. Over the last few years we have heard great stories of success but also sad tales of closures and declines. So if you are a merchant in need of help and/or advice on maximising conversions then there's no better way to learn than from someone who has been there, done that and sold the proverbial T-Shirt.
