This article will round up the whole day by looking at the remaining two sessions of Meet Magento UK 2021. If you read our previous article, you will remember that we only covered three of the four sessions for the 3.20pm - 3.55pm timeslot, promising to reveal why in this article. That moment has arrived. The reason we split it up is that...the first session is a panel with four participants when you add them to the other five speakers from the other seminars it gives me nine people to fit into the cover graphic and in all honesty, I didn't think I could get it to work. Having said that, it has worked out well as now our closing keynote speaker has some company in this article. So without any further delay, let's dive right in.

Eric Erway, Penny McLachlan, Paul Skeldon & Jamie Huskisson.

PWAs for Retail: Panel Discussion

In this session, the face of PWA, Eric Erway (Adobe), the home of PWA, Penny McLachlan (Google) and the champion of PWA, Jamie Huskisson (JH), sit and discuss the positives and positives of PWAs. Joined by Paul Skeldon, the panel will also investigate the impact that PWA can have on your business right now and how they are already shaping the future of eCommerce as we know it.

Is this session for me?

This session has been certified as a PWA - Panel worth attending!

Love it, hate it or even indifferent to it, PWA is here to stay and sooner or later, you are going to need to learn about it. This panel is a golden opportunity to glean insights from the world's experts on the matter.

Who are Eric Erway, Penny McLachlan, Paul Skeldon & Jamie Huskisson?

With almost a quarter of a century worth of experience, Eric has worked for well-known industry giants such as AOL as senior producer, design director and product manager, Dell as a senior user experience designer, user experience strategist and experience director until becoming senior UX manager and group product manager at Adobe.

Starting as an IT specialist at IBM, Penny then became a Data Visualization researcher at AT&T, was chief architect, chief product officer and Co-founder of Mobify before joining Google as a product manager.

For eight year's Paul was an editor at Miller Freeman, then an editor and rabble-rouser for CMP Information and CMP Europe. In 2001 he became the managing editor for World Telemedia. In 2009 he became a freelance journalist, video caster, podcaster, writer, consultant owner and managing director at Videobaby Media Ltd. 2010 saw him become editor of M-retailing.net at Internet Retailing and, in 2015 he became a Freelance content creator and curator. What is even more impressive than this incomplete list of roles is that Paule is currently doing everything listed since 2001!

In the three years that I have been covering Meet Magento UK, it appears that I have never done a career rundown for Jamie Huskisson. That changes today!

In his time, Jamie has worked as a Senior PHP developer for FAH-Designs Ltd., Lead PHP developer for Prodco International Inc. and Lead PHP developer for Pixel2life Studios before spending four years as a freelance PHP/WordPress developer. He then founded and lead development at Rolled for almost a year before becoming a Lead PHP developer at a local agency. Then 2009 hit and, JH is born! As founder and CEO of JH, Jamie has spent the last 12 years developing, guiding and inspiring growth, sustainability and excellence in the eCommerce industry, evidenced in JH's work as organisers and hosts of Meet Magento UK over the past four year's.
